FAQ — Puzzle Challenge
01
What exactly is this concept?
You receive a puzzle at home. But it's not complete. Some pieces are locked in a locked box.
Three days after receiving the package, The Guardian will send you the code to open the box... and retrieve the last pieces.
Your goal? Finish the puzzle as quickly as possible... and prove that you've finished it before everyone else.
04
What prizes are there to be won?
Prizes vary depending on the Puzzle Challenge campaigns.
They are always announced in advance on our website or our networks.
Sometimes it's a unique item.
Sometimes… it's more than that.
02
How do I win?
You must send a photo of the completed puzzle, with a newspaper dated today next to it.
This is the only accepted evidence.
The first to send a complete photo wins the prize.
05
Can I participate multiple times?
Yes. Each Puzzle Challenge is unique.
You can subscribe to as many editions as you want.
But each time, the race starts from zero.
03
How do I receive the code?
The Guardian will email it to you exactly 3 days after your puzzle is delivered. Not before.
06
Is there a time limit?
Not officially.
But the first one to finish wins everything.
So… every second counts.
